This is one of my dogs, Melee. We've had him for about 2 years now and I've loved (almost) every minute of it. For those of you deciding whether or not to rescue a dog, I highly recommend it. These dogs need homes. Too many to be counted are put down without a chance at a good life. My dogs have improved my life so much that the hassle is completely worth it. It is harder to travel but the responsibility has grounded me. The walks are inconvenient but the exercise is great. The first two weeks were really hard and we even (gasp) considered returning him... Pretty quickly we figured out that was the wrong thing to do though. I will never get tired of that smiling face and wagging tail upon returning home.
